Template Updates
We finally got a grasp of the coding required to get the flash templates to preview in Adobe Photoshop Lightroom, and let me tell you, it has been a bit of a challenge. Thanks to Andy Rahn at Adobe, Matt at theturninggate, and others for all your help. I finally got some issues resolved and will release all the LRG flash template updates shortly. I am also adding some new features to them as well.
We need your template ideas!! What templates and features do you guys want? Do you prefer Flash or HTML templates more? Please add your comments to this message and feed us some ideas. Some of you have already sent us your comments on new features and styles and we are working on adding these to various templates.
Thank everyone!
Joe
Escape from gallery hell
Windows users reported some major problems with the recent Flash versions of TTG FlashNifties Gallery and TTG Polaroid Gallery; problems that didn’t affect the Mac version of Lightroom, and which I had therefore not realized were present.
I’m happy to report that after a great deal of headache, and quite a few emails to Joe, Andy Rahn at Adobe and John Moore, who has been kind enough to test things for me in Windows - and to all of whom I owe a great deal of thanks - the problems have been resolved.
The latest versions of both galleries have been tested with positive results in both Windows and Mac versions of Lightroom, and you can get them below.

TTG Polaroid Gallery released
TTG Polaroid Gallery brings Christopher Einarsrud’s Polaroid Gallery to the Lightroom Web module. Polaroid gallery doesn’t allow for much customization (so little, in fact, that it only took me about 15 minutes to put this gallery together), but it does provide a fun and casual way to present your photo collection.

TTG AutoViewer Gallery released
From the beginning of my gallery work for the Lightroom Web module, I had always intended to create a template for Airtight Interactive’s AutoViewer. Despite Adobe’s having already released a template for Airtight Interactive’s AutoViewer, and because a handful of users have requested a TTG version of the template, I’ve finally completed TTG AutoViewer Gallery.
Like all of my galleries, TTG AutoViewer Gallery comes in two flavors: An HTML-based template that includes a header, ID plate, etc., and a stripped-down, Flash-based template that previews properly in both Windows and Mac versions of LR.
The Flash-version resembles the Adobe release, but adds support for image watermarking — a feature not found in the Adobe version. The HTML version supports all of the options found in the Flash version, and a great deal more.

TTG SimpleViewer Gallery updated; new Flash-based template!
TTG SimpleViewer Gallery 1.7 is now public.
The Basic version of the template has now been replaced by a new Flash-based template that previews properly in Windows. The template offers a few more options and improvements than the Adobe released SimpleViewer template, making it the definitive SimpleViewer gallery template for Adobe Lightroom.
The HTML-based template has also received a major overhaul. The code has been cleaned up and reorganized, and the interface has been reshuffled so that it hopefully makes a bit more sense.

TTG FlashNifties Gallery 1.1 update; new Flash-based template
My flash experiments continue! I’ve created a new Flash-based version of TTG FlashNifties Gallery that should does preview properly in Lightroom for Windows. I work on a Mac, so I haven’t been able to test it. Check it out, and please, some Windows user, let me know whether it previews in the Web module the way it’s supposed to. John Moore wrote in to let me know that yes, the new Flash-based version does preview in the Windows XP version of Lightroom. Hurrah!!
UPDATE: Found and fixed a captions related bug in the Flash version. The corrected version is available below.

TTG PostcardViewer Gallery updated
TTG PostcardViewer Gallery 1.3 is now available.
I’ve replaced the BASIC version of the template with a new Flash-based version that should preview properly for Windows users. This new version is largely based upon the Airtight PostcardViewer gallery released by Adobe, but with a few improvements - watermarks and a Page Title that actually gets applied to the exported index.html file. In part, this new version is an educational endeavor.
Of course, the standard HTML version of the gallery is still here, and I’ve cleaned up the code some, though the feature set is identical to previous versions. Get it:

TTG MediaBox Index
Another variation on my index template, TTG MediaBox Index employs John Einselen’s MediaBox to present your galleries in a Lightbox-style overlay. MediaBox is based on Mootools, plays very nicely with Slimbox, and can be used to display many types of media, including FLV, Flash, Quicktime, YouTube videos and more. It’s a good choice for users who employ a multitude of media on their sites, and want to keep their scripts uniform throughout their site. The download and a sample gallery are available from my site:

Flash template previews coming soon!
We have finally figured out a way to get the flash templates to show a live preview from within Adobe Photoshop Lightroom! I am working on converting the templates to this new format as we speak. Check back as I will post the updated templates as I finish them.
