To update a live working website, and your LR templates, please follow the very simple instructions located in the “UPDATE INSTRUCTIONS.txt” file within the “INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS” folder. This package also contains the latest User Manual.
Please update to this version as soon as you can.

LRG Complete 3.0 Final Released!

We are happy to announce the release of LRG Complete 3 as a final version! Well final in that its not Beta anymore. I will no longer support any previous versions of the LRG Complete template so EVERYONE should upgrade to this new version. Please delete any previous versions of this template from your Lightroom installation and install the current version. Your user presets should remain the same and can be applied to this new version, however, there are some new settings in this new version so you will need to save a new preset to include the new settings.
From this release on, anytime I release an update to the template I will provide detailed instructions on updating a current live site, running the previous, to the latest release. If I release 3.3 then instructions will be for updating from 3.2 to 3.3. They will not cover updates from say 3.1 to 3.3 so please stay up to date with the updates.
LRG Complete 3 Final includes:
- All features of the previous versions
- Digital Delivery provided by LinkLok
- Free Image Download option
- Better organized option panels
- Output sharpening for galleries and pages
- Cooliris Enabled
- Bug fixes and code optimizations
- And more!
The Gallery Demo is a working demo with Digital Delivery enabled for testing. Each image is set at a cost of $0.01 so you can make a test purchase without having to have a Paypal Sandbox account. This is a live PayPal transaction so you will be spending 1 cent per image. If you would like a refund of the money please contact me and let me know.

Cooliris (formerly PicLens) comes to LRG Complete!
We are proud to announce the integration of Cooliris (formerly PicLens) into the LRG Complete 3 template!
Cooliris instantly transforms your browser into a full-screen slideshow experience. Cooliris makes photos come to life via a cinematic presentation that goes beyond the confines of the traditional browser window. With Cooliris, browsing and viewing images on the web will never be the same again.”
Cooliris is a browser extension for Firefox, Safari and Internet Explorer that provides a slick and immersive 3D image viewing experience.
Visitors with the Cooliris extension installed in their browser will be able to activate the feature in the same way as on sites like Flickr or Facebook, or they may choose not to use the feature, and simply browse the gallery in the usual fashion. Visitors without the Cooliris extension can use the gallery normally.
Thanks to Christian Staubach at http://christian.stauba.ch for doing the integration for us. Keep an eye out for it in the next update to LRG Complete 3 (beta).
LRG Complete 3 beta update!
I made some more updates to the LRG Complete 3 Beta. You can download the update from the link below.
Some of the changes that were made are:
- Shell will now preview correctly in LR
- Fixed problem with page title formatting
- Added missing file for deep linking
- You can now turn on/off the navigation buttons that appear when you roll over a large image
- All ecommerce features have now been places inside the Appreance Panel. This is a great improvement for options readability as you can collapse the different panels to focus on the options you need at that moment. This will probably affect User Presets so you may have to recreate those (sorry for that)
- All coupon codes have been moved to the shell template as there are no longer and gallery specific templates. Eventhough it worked previously, the method was flawed
- You can now change the form labels for the Contact form
I have included update instructions to update your current LRG Complete 3 beta to the new version.

LRG Complete 3 (with Digital Delivery)!
We have rolled out LRG Complete 3 for beta testing! You can find the download link in the forums. Remember though, this is just a beta, so use at your own risk. We also do not have an updated manual for this beta yet, and probably will not release one until its final release. Everything is pretty much the same as before, so if you have used any previous version you will have no problems at all. We did include a manual for setting up Digital Delivery, and it is very simple!
I know how much of a pain it can be to have to keep updating templates and redoing things, and we are making some changes. What I want to do is get everyone to install the final release of 3. Once the final release of 3 is out I will start providing detailed update/upgrade instructions for any future versions. This will make it much easier for people to upgrade to the latest version. The normal upgrade process consists of updating template files and the minimum, to manually having to make some simple text changes to your uploaded site’s files. I will provide detailed instructions so it will be as easy as possible.
As usual, I welcome and comments, suggestions, feature request, bug reports, and anything else you have to say. Please post in the forums for the quickest response.
Thanks!
Joe

New feature for LRG Complete!
Just wanted to let you know that we have added deep/direct link functionality to the LRG Complete template! Now you will be able to send somebody a link that will bring them directly to a specific page or gallery without having to use any of the navigation! This feature will be in the next release so keep an eye out!
Lightroom 2 Released!
If you don’t already know, Lightroom 2 has been released by Adobe! Im looking forward to using LR2 and all its great new features. Nothing really new has happened to the Web Module, so nothing to report there. I myself have not tested any galleries with LR2, but many users have been using and testing with LR2 and have had no problems. I strongly suggest upgrading to LR2 as all current and future galleries I make will be made using LR2. They should still work fine on any previous verions of LR though, but im assuming at some point there will be a time when I need to use something specific to LR2.
Im really looking forward to using LR2 and creating new galleries as well as improving my current ones.
NOW GO BUY LIGHTROOM 2!
Thanks
joe
