LRG Complete 4.1 update released!

Remember, this is still a sort of Beta version, but it has address many of the issues in the forums.
Please read the UPDATE_INSTRUCTIONS_4.0_to_4.1.txt file that is included in order to upgrade your live site to 4.1

We need your Language characters!
Many of you who use, or want to use LRG Complete, are from locations outside the US. I am having trouble coming up with a custom character set to use in the LRG Complete font files so that the most common languages and their characters are supported.
I have created a forum called Submit your language located here http://www.lightroomgalleries.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=48 for you to post the characters you require for your language. Please, ONLY post your characters, and what language they are for.
I will then try to add them to the font files that can be used with LRG Complete.

LRG Complete 4 (Release Candidate 1) out now!
Well, its finally here! There have been many improvements made to LRG Complete 4 that I know you guys will really enjoy! The design of everything has pretty much stayed the same, but there are alot of things behind the scenes that have been redone and revamped. Two of the major additions to this release are… Changable fonts and the new Site Editor. There have also be many bug fixes, minor feature updates, code optimization, and more.
I am releasing this version as a Release Candidate instead of a final version because there are still some changes I would like to make for the final release. It has been a while since the last update and I really wanted to get this new version out to everyone.
IMPORTANT NOTES:
I have included update instructions to update a version 3 site to version 4, but I can not technically support users trying to update. There are many things that have to be changed, and changed correctly, that its almost impossible to debug any problems. You are sort of on your own when it comes to updating a previous template version to this new one. I recommend that you create a new site from scratch ONLY using these template files. If you do find any bugs PLEASE only report them if you have made your site from scratch using ONLY these template files.
TOTAL SITE EDITOR:
This version includes the new Total Site editor (TSE), which has replaced the previous page editor and site editors. The TSE is located in the “admin” folder when you unzip the zip file you have downloaded. To install it simply upload it to the root of your LRGC 4 generated website. The best way to keep the editor secured against abuse is for it to be password protected using .htaccess. If you dont know what that is do not worry, almost all web hosting companies include a sort of “Control Panel” with your hosting service and from there you can password protect any directory on your website. To secure your admin directory please use your web hosting’s control panel to do so. You only need to password protect the “admin” folder.
For the TSE to work properly you MUST change permissions on a few files so that they have write access. The files that need to be changed to have permissions of 777 are:
Shell:
-shellData.xml
Galleries:
-galleries/yourcategory/yourgallery/galleryData.xml
-galleries/yourcategory/yourgallery/images (including all sub folders)
Pages (including Contact):
-pages/yourpage/pageContent.xml
-pages/yourpage/images (including all sub folders)
I will set up a new Forum for this release for people to post their questions, problems, bug reports. David is working on the documentation for this new version and it should be out soon, but dont worry, almost everything operates the same as before.

Update
We are still here and alive, just extremely busy. I am however continually working on a totally new, written from scratch, version of LRG Complete which will be 100 time better then the current one. Its written in ActionScript 3 which LR currently does not support, so we will have to wait for LR to support this new gallery before we can release it.
Just wanted to let you guys know that im still around and working on templates, but i have just been to busy to do much with the site.

Hey guys, we are still hard at work on the new version including the site editor. I have 4 people testing it now and every thing is going well. I have a few adjustments to make and then it’s ready for release! I’ll keep you all posted.

Just another note, we are still working hard on LRG Complete 4 and hope to release it soon. There have been some major changes and thats what is taking so long. I hate to keep eveyone waiting, but I want to make sure we run into the least amount of problems and bugs as possible. So hang tight just a bit longer.

Updates and the Total Site Editor!

Well things have been a bit quiet around the LRG site lately (mostly me), but don’t worry, i am hard at work working on the next release!! Its been a while since the last update, and I want to make sure this next release is as good as it can be with the least about of bugs. Please forgive me for the delay, and I hope you understand the reasons behind the delay. I hope to have it out very soon!
I am also working on a new Total Site Editor for LRG Complete based sites. I do have to say, this new Site editor will be awesome! It is basically a complete administration panel (web based) for you to manage every aspect of your site from one location. You can edit all settings for the shell, pages, and galleries. You can also add, delete, and organize all images from this admin panel. I am very excited about this new feature and i know it will make everyones life much easier while working with your LRG Complete based sites.
