I guess you noticed already, the PNG files when view in IE get a brown background. While in Firefox is looks just great.
Do you know why?
The only solution that I have so far is to switch the PNG for GIF or JPG. Loosing of course the transparency proprieties of the PNG (gradual).
Gif only has 1 level of transparency.
Another update brings us up to v1.0.1. Changes:
- Upgraded Slimbox to version 1.31.
- IE6 compatibility improvements.
- Other bug fixes and internal improvements.

There is a javascript file that is included with LightroomGalleries Template 1 that should fox this issue on IE. Its a workaround for the PNG images. Seems to be working fine for me on IE. Mac or PC?
I am working in a PC.
I will take another look at the new version from the turning gate and see if I can get it to work too on IE.

There were some problems getting the PNGfix JS file to load in the earlier versions, but it should be working fine in 1.0.1. I tried it on my girlfriend’s laptop (she’s running Windows; I’m on a Mac) and it worked fine.

Really the PNG fix worked on IE, I have finally finished my first gallery, based largely on the The Turning Gate template.

Also from the main site you have access to other photos using the same template.
Still I am not satisfied with it, and I will work a little more to get more resemblance to my original website. Like including some php scripts.

I’ve updated my TTG Slimbox Gallery template to v1.0.
New in this release:
- The ability to customize colors of every element in the gallery.
- Fixed the Web Link functionality ID plates; can be set to a different address than the contact link.
- Minor tweaks to code in an attempt to clean things up and eliminate bugs.
