LRG 2.5.4 Update released! And a quick note.
We updated the template once again. Almost all of the bugs posted in the forum for 2.5.4 have been fixed in this update. we also added some new features to the Email Order Form, ID Plate and Site Title and Description positioning, and some others.
Note: I will be out of town from 6/6 - 6/8 and will not be able to respond to emails, forum posts, or comments. David at Outdoor Images Fine Art should be able to answer all your questions should any arise. David has been very helpful in the development of this template so we should all give him a big THANKS! Thanks David!
I will post the changelog and new features for this updated release when I return.
Again PLEASE DELETE and previous version of this template from your Lightroom Web Galleries folder and install this version. Also, please only comment on bugs or issues with this latest release to avoid confusion.

Just downloaded and installed the lightroom galleries and the manual. Not had a great deal of time to produce anything yet but enjoyed the manual and the possiblities seem endless as to what can be achieved. I would like to say thank you for this cracker of a gallery and keep up the good works.
One question would be, is there a way of uploading new images to the galleries but for the gallery to indicate that there is new material to view? Sorry if this is a tad upfront for my first post but it never seemed to be mentioned in the manual.
Once again! thank you for a real professional functioning gallery.

That is a great idea to allow that functionality, but at this time that can not be done. Maybe in the future i can get that integrated somehow

Welcome back. Great work on this template. I seem to have it working really well on my site at the moment. There is one issue that is slightly puzzling and has only arisen since this most recent release. I do not use coupons in the cart section - (in fact is there anyway I can take this out?) - when I press the Paypal button on the cart two windows open, the PayPal site and an error page with the following message:
Not Found
The requested URL /images/itemsTotal=50_rangeMin=0_rangeMax=0_applyCoupon=false_rangeBased=false_inRange=false was not found on this server.

i was able to duplicate your issue. apparently there is some security issue with the latest flash player which for some reason causes problems with _self links from flash and also using swfobject to embed the flash. anyways, im sure you dont care about any of that and just want it to work 
i did fix it and i will release an update shortly. thanks for pointing this out. i was not seeing this happen at first so it made it very hard to debug.

that issue was fixed. try downloading the templates again. i think the only file that was changed in that update was the shell.swf file so you could just replace your shell.swf with the one you download, but i suggest just grabbing all the files again and reinstalling just to be 100% sure you have the latest version of all files.

I appreciate your work and thank you for looking into it! I don’t mind the tech info at all. You are the man! I’ll be looking forward for the update.
Is anyone else getting a error regarding upgrading to Flash? On the demo’s and even when I do my own.
Has someone already suggested the ability to share galleries with friends? Where the user could type in the email addresses to share the link with and it would be sent to them?
I was thinking about doing that and at one point asked for peoples opinion on it. no one really showed much interest. its a fairly easy thing to do (i think), so i’ll try to add it for you. any thoughts on how it should function and where i should locate the send to friend button and email address form?

Ok here is one. When I have a gallery open and click on the thumbnail, up comes the enlargement of that image. But now instead of clicking on the image to go back to thumbnails I click my browser “IE7″ back button and it goes back to the previous website not back to thumbnails. Any sugestions?

Yes adding a comment feature is in the future for this template but i dont know exactly when i will get to it. but it is planned

This template is a flash application. the web browsers back button will not communicate with flash or allow you to navigate within the flash movie. that said, the back button will always take you to the previous website. you have to click on the Thumbnails link or close the large image to get back to the thumbnails
Hi, the LRG is awesome man.
However I face problem here.
Everytime I make pages and contact page, it didn’t appear in the whole website (i change to pages / contact page for link type)
and everytime i opened its page without gallery, the ‘You need to upgrade your Flash Player’ appears.
Any help will be appreciated. Thanks

I am still unable to get the links to an external site to work when I have target set to “_self” they work when set to “_blank”. They used to work as “_self” in older versions but not anymore. Don’t really want to have a new page opening up. Not sure what it can be, best guess would be the analytics javascript is doing something but don’t know. Anyone else having any issues?
