LRG Complete 2.5.5 Released!!
The latest LRG Complete version is now 2.5.5 and is filled with many updates, fixes, and new features. Please DELETE ANY previous versions and copy over the new ones, you will still be able to use you presets you may have made.
Change Log:
- Complete redo of shipping and coupons for the cart system. We now have better flat rate shipping options which can be administered through your PayPal or Google accounts
- Some minor updates to the Email Order feature
- Support for multiple passwords for galleries.
- Fixed page navigation rollover issue
- You can now use special characters in category and gallery name (documentation on this coming soon)
- When closing a large image it no longer flashes white.
- Fixed issue where thumbnails would still load, and be visible, after a large image was loaded.
- Made slight modification to the slideshow for pages
- Fixed issue with “Self” links
- Added features, bug fixes, and suggestions from the forums. I normally reply to the message stating it has been fixed

Again PLEASE DELETE and previous version of this template from your Lightroom Web Galleries folder and install this version. Also, please only comment on bugs or issues with this latest release to avoid confusion.

USING MULTIPLE PASSWORDS FOR GALLERIES:
Open up the pw.php file for your gallery and have a look at the comments and examples at the top. It is very easy to implement.
USING SPECIAL LANGUAGE CHARACTERS IN CATEGORY AND GALLERY NAME:

Step 1: Export and upload your gallery to your website. When exporting your gallery and assigning it a folder name, do NOT use any special characters, just leave them out of the folder name. We will add the special characters later on. Go to yourdomain.com/menuxml.php. You should see nothing on this page, go to the next step
- Step 2: Since there is nothing visible on this page you will need to “View Source” of this page. In IE go to the menu and choose View -> Source. In FireFox go to the menu and choose View -> Page Source. Here you will see the structure of your galleries in xml format.
- Step 3: Select all the text on this page and them paste it into a new text document using your favorite text editor. Then save this new document as internationalmenu.xml.
- Step 4: Now we are ready to add category and gallery names with special characters. The code you pasted should look something like this:

The only part of this code we need to modify to allow special characters is the dirName=”" bit. The Name variable is the name of the actual folder on the server. The dirName will be what will appear in the menu. For any category or gallery you want to include a special character in you simple enter it in the dirName entry.
Example:

- Step 4: Save the file and upload it to the same location you uploaded your shell file. The menu will now pull in the internationalmenu.xml instead of the normal menuxml.php and your special characters will be displayed

I think that I may have found a bug. When you click on an image the space between ‘prev’ and ‘thumbnails’ is bigger than that between ‘thumbnails’ and ‘next’.

I uploaded the new version (2.5.5) and now my menu bar doesn’t seem to load.
Also, my pages don’t seem to load, either (they haven’t loaded in any version I’ve used).
I imagine maybe there’s something I’m missing here?

You may just be setting it up incorrectly. read through the manual for 2.5.5
Your site seems to be using an old version of the template and not 2.5.5 but you might just be using the old one until you get 2.5.5 working for you.

just check your shell settings. every thing you can find in shell settings. read the manual to how to set up “pages” folders and default “pages” for Home page or gallery

iam using this LRG from the beginning. when new LRG comes i delete older one and i upload which is newly released. now my sever space 85% in use. even i clean / delete all files from my server. there is no files in my server still its showing 85% in use.. there is any problem with out LRG or some buddy using my server space.?

Have a look at the manual/documentation for the gallery provided with the download link. it explains everything there
It would be nice to be able to change fonts and font styles on the pages where you have contact info or lead pages for about me type items. I have not seen a way to do it or I may be missing something. Other than that I love the template. That is some great work.

An issue I found… when I upgraded to the most recent version of flashplayer, the galleries no longer work. A blank screen shows. They still work on my computers that have older flash versions.
Which leads me to why i found this issue… on the aboutme page, it shows up as “need to upgrade flashplayer”, so I did…

actually i saw in others website. not allowing people to do right click when they click “your not allowed” will come……just like to keep that option. thats all i dont want to hide anything.. just like to see that in LRG. ya i agree con’t do anything about it.

when you follow this link, you have only the gallery, without the website shell…
while the white background does not bother me, it’s impossible to navigate without the <> buttons….
is there a way to load the shell too ? or to include the <> buttons in the gallery ?

well i can’t disable the right click as there are functions i have added in the right click menu that allows you to login and edit your pages of the template. i think you are thinking more of what is done with html templates where users could right click and download the images, and thats why you wanted it disabled. This template is all in flash and you dont run into any issue like that so right clicking is not a problem.

Thanks for such a great gallery! After using the menalto Gallery2 for several years a friend pointed me to this site. Looking for a good designed gallery which works with Lightroom, this gallery seems to be my end of search!
But I have some comments, to help you further developing.
At first it would be great to edit all of the messages and buttons easily whithin Lightroom. I’m no advanced programmer, but a photographer, so I’m not sure this will be possible. But localisation is a great feature which will be celebrated by non-english people 
I had to edit the shell flash file to translate, for instance, the ‘View’ button.
The cart screen, especially when using e-mail order, should have some more edit options too in my opinion. The field which need to be filled by customers (Name, telephone email and message) should be given other labels (for example Name, Email, Phone, Address). A customer orders some photos, and then he should receive a mail with pay instructions.
Also when using email order, is it possible to use flat-rate shipping?
