LRG Complete 3 (with Digital Delivery)!
We have rolled out LRG Complete 3 for beta testing! You can find the download link in the forums. Remember though, this is just a beta, so use at your own risk. We also do not have an updated manual for this beta yet, and probably will not release one until its final release. Everything is pretty much the same as before, so if you have used any previous version you will have no problems at all. We did include a manual for setting up Digital Delivery, and it is very simple!
I know how much of a pain it can be to have to keep updating templates and redoing things, and we are making some changes. What I want to do is get everyone to install the final release of 3. Once the final release of 3 is out I will start providing detailed update/upgrade instructions for any future versions. This will make it much easier for people to upgrade to the latest version. The normal upgrade process consists of updating template files and the minimum, to manually having to make some simple text changes to your uploaded site’s files. I will provide detailed instructions so it will be as easy as possible.
As usual, I welcome and comments, suggestions, feature request, bug reports, and anything else you have to say. Please post in the forums for the quickest response.

I’d love to see your web gallery templates but, after searching your website for 10 minutes, I cannot find an example anywhere.
I can download a template, and install one, and get a manual. I just can’t ever see one.
I think that’s a problem.
I am new to LRG which is the best place to start, 2.5.7 or 3. And how do I get 3 if this is. I joined the forums and couldn’t find the beta download.

the last release was 2.5.7 which is on the main page if you scroll down. there is a demo link in that post to view a sample gallery. there are also samples for every gallery created which can be seen in the Template Downloads section under the main menu

i would start 2.5.7 first, but use it only to get familiar with how things work. I say 2.5.7 because there is a manual written for it. 3 does not have a manual yet. they are very very similar and you will probably not have any problems, so either one is fine to start with really.

I made my home page with your engine, and it is simple fantastic. Easy to handle, and the design is perfect. Great job, thanks a lot for that.
Actually I have a question. In my start page there is only 1 image, and there is a thin shadow or frame around it. I checked the xml, and the frame is false, every clolour is black, so I have no more idea how to remove this frame. Do you have any idea?
Another one is in the about (Elerhetoseg) page. Can I translate it from eng to hun anywhere?

The forum is down, otherwise I would have posted my issue there. I have a ‘undefined’ button that should be the add to cart button when viewing a full sized image in the gallery. It functions correctly, it’s just the name that’s not showing.
Second, with digital downloads I find that my descriptions of what to download is much larger than in the past. This could be the cause of the above issue, as it’s also bleeding off the image frame, especially when viewing portrait images.
My site is now up and running the beta 3 version, but with just a single gallery. I’ve begun to test the download link via paypal’s sandbox but have yet to receive a link to download the files, although I am seeing that the transaction was completed in this sandbox. I suspect I’m close to having this set up correctly.

I downloaded and tried The LRG gallery and I think it has some really great features, so I decided to try it out. If you go to berra.ca you’ll see the site I made using the template. However I did run in to some issues while viewing the site with an older versions of Internet explorer and in version six, the menu links at the top don’t seem to load the page very well. When you click on one link say the Contact, it will take you to the page, then when you click on to another link, it will just become a white page. I didn’t seem to have issues with the newer Internet explorer (7) nor with FireFox, however there are many people who still didn’t do the switch to the newer browsers. Is there something I’m missing, such as a scrip? Please let me know, Thanks Peter
I download the LRG Complete 3 template everything works for me in the program .I dont use ftp i export to a folder on my web server and I create sub folder for the pages in the directory and put them in there. But then when i upload them to my web server nothing is linked HELP PLZ!!!!!

I think I’ve told you this before, but it bears repeating…it would be really great if we could see demo sites for the theme. I hate to download anything without seeing it in action first.
