TTG MonoSlideshow Gallery 1.0 released

TTG MonoSlideshow Gallery is now available. The template brings Monokai’s MonoSlideshow to the Lightroom Web module. MonoSlideshow is highly configurable, allowing for more customization than probably any other gallery available. While TTG MonoSlideshow Gallery is a free template, however, MonoSlideshow is not a free gallery. In order to use the LR template, users are required to provide their own copy of MonoSlideshow, which can be purchase for $19.95 from Monokai’s site. You can get a feel for MonoSlideshow by playing with the configurable online demo.

Wow! This blows everything else away. So far everything works except I can’t figure out how to get the icon for the album title which just shows up as an exclamation mark. Have tried pasting the icon from the original in various folders with no luck. Any ideas?

Could you put a toggle in Lightroom to start the slideshow with the albums? xml is startWith = “albums”. I can edit the file but it would be much neater to have it as an option from LR

Thanks, Les. I’m glad you like it.

In 1.0, you have to set the album thumbnail manually by editing the XML. As for the startWith toggle, I’ll keep it in mind for the next update.

For now, however, I need to focus my attentions on a handful of looming web projects. I don’t expect to be doing any more Lightroom work until late August, or maybe September.

You never cease to amaze me.
Very well.

This template is by far the nicest one. Good job! I have just updated my website to include it.

Great work!!! Would love a sound (background) field to…

Hi,

I installed the plug-in under LR webgallery, but when I generate a new gallery by this template (exporting it loccally) nothing is displayed on IE. Any idea about this strange behaviour? I noticed that no xml file has been generated in the exported gallery folder.

Thanx for any help

Very cool! But how do I use the settings generated with the configurable online demo? Which Lightroom XML file should this be copied and pasted into?

Tore,
Copy the settings from the demo XML file into the XML file in an exported gallery.

Don’t copy them in the template XML files!!
