TTG MonoSlideshow Gallery updated to 1.1

Is there a display bug in 1.1? In Lightroom I get no display and Update Gallery goes into an infinite loop however the gallery is created properly in the temp file and all User settings can be carried over from 1.0

No bugs that I’m aware of. Version 1.1 is running perfectly for me.

Make sure you’re using the latest version of Lightroom (1.2).

Also make sure you have the correct filename for the MSSwrapper file set in the gallery.xml file and that your MonoSlideshow SWF file is named monoslideshow.swf.

If you had a previous version of the gallery installed, try deleting it and installing a fresh copy.

Finally, if you’re attempting to use a User Preset from version 1.0 of the gallery, you should delete it and create a new preset using 1.1.

Solved it thanks to your mention of gallery.xml - the problem was that in the 1.1 download gallery.xml refers to MSSwrapper707×645.swf which doesn’t exist. I changed this to MSSwrapper800×533.swf and everything works - even all the presets from 1.0 can be used without any problem.

On 1.0 gallery.xml referred to the correct MSSwrapper file and did not need changing.

I guess it was just a slip?

One question. I downloaded monoslideshow gallery but when i run it it says monoslideshow is not free. To get a free version go to monoslideshow gallery at http://theturninggate.net/blog/ttg-monoslideshow-gallery

Thanks for pointing out that problem; an oversight on my part. I’ve updated the archive to use the 600×400 wrapper by default, so it hopefully won’t be a problem any more.

Robert, only the Lightroom plugin (TTG MonoSlideshow Gallery) is free. You still need to supply your own, purchased copy of the MonoSlideshow.swf file. You can purchase MonoSlideshow for $19.95 from http://www.monoslideshow.com
